**Title**: GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT
**Primary Location**: Mexico (MX) - Coahuila Motores JD-Torreon
**Function**: Accounting / Finance
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, or annual Accounting/Financial reports & Government/Statistical information.
- Examines accounting information contained in reports and exhibits, traces and reconciles unusual variances.
- Performs reconciliations, journal vouchers entries & assign accounts to purchase order.
- Budget Management Administration - Overhead/Expense accounts.
- Provide accounting guidance to other within the department or outside of the work area.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
**What Skills You Need**:
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or equivalent.
- Understanding of the integrated system of internal control and the relationship to disclosure and financial reporting.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively across functional areas.
- Understanding of financial concepts such as budgets, key metrics, Exhibits, etc.
- Knowledge of accounting system.
- Higher level of accountability and attention to details.
- Language proficiency. - Fluent proficient in spoken and written English.
**What Makes You Stand Out**:
- Has a good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or equivalent principles and can independently use the knowledge.
- Experience with unit general ledger activities and/or financial reporting.
- SOX/Internal Control experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including complex formulas and financial modeling.
- SAP Knowledge

- Degree in an Bachelor´s degree in accounting discipline.
