.**Job qualifications**:- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Food Sciences, Microbiology, Engineering (Industrial and Mechanical).- More than 3 years in a management position in quality or manufacturing in a FDA regulated industry. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the implementation and maintaining cGMPs is preferable.- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in certification schemes, preferably SQF, BRC, ISO 22000, ISO 13485.- Demonstrated experience in Statistical Process Control or Six Sigma (Green Belt minimum).- Minimum 90 percent Technical English spoken and written.**Abilities required**:- Hands on type of person that spends at least 70 percent of the time in the production areas. Ensure regulatory compliance as well as compliance to organic and kosher (if applies) requirements. Oversee continuous improvement in the company without compromising food safety and quality.**Main functions (Responsibilities)****Safety**- Complies and enforces all safety rules regarding personnel safety, machine operation and proper guarding in his area and throughout the facility.- Reports and investigates any unsafe condition and/or practice to her/his immediate supervisor.- Carries proper company's identification and parking permit.- Complies with all safety, health, and environmental company's policies and procedures.- Reports and investigates any work related injuries to immediate supervisor.**Quality**- Acts as SQF Practitioner deputy- Ensures food safety and quality compliance on the existing products and processes.- Provides leadership, mentoring of the Quality Supervisor, Quality and Laboratory Technicians.- Evaluate employees through performance reviews, ongoing coaching and feedback methods.- Continuously improve performance based on the key performance indicators.- Analyzes and resolves, or assists workers in solving work problems.- Participate with the other teams in the plant in programs such as HACCP, SQF and others as assigned.- Support projects related with new developments, technology and processes.- Participate in the GMP and internal audits of the plant, and monitors that the non-compliances are corrected
