The role has autonomy within the operational area and may have a major impact on full fitment F5.Job DescriptionLead the generator area to achieve all the objectives of EHS, Quality, Lean, Cost, Productivity, Delivery, and compliance with GE policies and procedures.Hire, train, develop, coach, and provide ongoing leadership and direction to the generator team.Participate in different business cycles through P&E procurement, cost control of the defined budget, spare parts list definition, and processes' qualification leveraging the generators.Manage job repairs execution with the shop team, ITOs & OTRs & the PMs for the generator rotor or stator repair projects.Communicate with the GE network in the region, vendors, and customers to assure requirements and action items.Partner with the regional commercial team and product line team to grow generator repair orders through technical product support based on customer needs and interactions.Provide technical support to regional design and engineering teams to observe upstream in engineering processes for new GE components and for Non-GE components.Mentor regional Generator Specialist candidates and other related personnel on generators to develop their qualifications.Make recommendations to regional management to adjust or revoke the qualifications for any test personnel in the LATAM region.Provide technical support to GRS service centers on generator repairs and adapt it to the Service Center requirements.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: Yes#J-18808-Ljbffr
