SENIOR SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY The Sr. Supply Chain Manager is the disciplinary leader of the materials planning, order fulfillment, production planning, procurement, and warehouse management teams at assigned Gentherm manufacturing facilities. This position partners with supply chain functional managers to enforce standards. This role will provide feedback on best practices to functional managers.
Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 10+ years of progressive experience in Supply ChainMust have prior Automotive/Manufacturing experience (Tier 1, 2)Bilingual - effective communication in English and Spanish.Broad Knowledge and experience in the ERP, MRP, and MPS systems.Inventories and Management.Lean Certified is preferred.APICS or equivalent professional certification desirablePreferred Qualifications Great leadership and emotional intelligence to manage a diverse team and accomplish objectives.Essential Functions And Responsibilities Materials Planning Management Assure planning, order fulfillment, production planning, and procurement planning teams execute respective processes efficiently and accurately.Drive improvement of related measurables through continuous improvement projects and effective corrective actions.Escalate exceptions to plant management, corporate leadership, and customers as needed.Lead management of inventory levels, on-time receipt of raw materials, warehousing and distribution of raw materials, warehousing of finished goods, and on-time delivery of customer orders.Monitor related measurables and drive improvement activities.Coordinate monthly SIOP to ensure new products are launched in a timely and cost-effective manner. Responsible for creation of attainable master production schedule with input from sales forecast, program management, customer demand, manufacturing capacity, and supply availability.Warehouse Management Assure Warehouse operations are conducted in a lean, cost-effective manner.Champion continuous improvement efforts in warehouse operations.Participate in the development of departmental plans and budgets.Management Provide strategic direction for the supply chain department.Provide project leadership and coach direct reports in developing improvement projects.Establish inventory objectives and assume responsibility for inventory turns.Review, identify, and minimize obsolete inventory.Recommend disposition of obsolescence within established guidelines.Mentor and coach the Supply Chain team in respective plants.Participate in continuous improvement activities and cost reduction programs such as SOPP.Perform other duties as necessary/assigned.Comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System IATF 16949 and environmental management system ISO 14001/ISO 45001 corresponding to the position.
