.**Description**This position manages the departmental activities, including the maintenance of the ledger accounts and financial statements in US and Mexico entities. It performs monthly analysis of company profit and loss and reports results to the Manager of Consolidated Car AccountingWorks on a variety of issues in US and Mexico, where analysis requires evaluation of multiple factors, including business objectives and trends. Adapts plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges within a functional area; defines department's operating standards. Translates the business unit's vision into plans and guides execution. Plans and prioritizes work to meet department commitments aligned with company goals and financial responsibilities. Reports to a people leader at a higher career level.**Accountabilities**- Demonstrates leadership and ability to prioritize Car Hire staff daily work and projects- Provides the support to US Car Hire Team on the consolidated analysis and process alignment activities.- Manages MX Car Hire department and provides daily work direction- Engages in Car Hire staff performance management through coaching and feedback- Demonstrates mentorship for members of Car Hire team- In conjunction with KCSR Car Hire manager, reviews the financial posting of Car Hire estimates and actuals to ensure accuracy in posted monthly Car Hire estimate and actual results to the General Ledger- Reviews financial account reconciliations support and certifies monthly reconciliations in accordance to SOX rules- In conjunction with MX Car Hire Coordinators and KCSR Car Hire manager, creates and updates MX Car Hire budgets and forecasts- Evaluates monthly estimates and actuals financial General Ledger posting and explains monthly and quarterly variances to budgets and forecasts- Reviews and approves monthly TTX invoice, incentives, taxes, mileage and payment- Reviews and approves monthly RCH transfer report including payment, if appropriate- Reviews and approves monthly payment of non-RCH participant payments- Supervises the collections and claims processing (e.G
