Oversees and directs the activities of a purchasing section, assuming responsibility for the acquisition and inventory management of materials including cost, quality, delivery, inventory levels and lead time trends in support of customer requirements.
Coordinates tasks required to meet the acquisition and inventory management needs for specialized commodity areas.
