The Sales Support Supervisor is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to deliver a full range of sales support activities in coordination with the Consumer Sales team.
The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of support services to sales people and client segments.
Responsibilities: Manage a team by coaching members, conducting performance evaluations, and recommending personnel action such as hiring, disciplinary actions and terminationReview and assist target setting, performance plans, and coaching plans for salesPlan and implement training programs and monitor efficacy as well as assist management to improve coachingProject and forecast annual sales metrics and assign sales quotas, targets, and goals; analyze sales data and develop plans to reduce performance gapsExecute weekly sales team meetings with internal/external stakeholdersConduct performance reviews for each portfolio with initiatives to improve sales resultsMonitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends provided by the front line and communicate results to leadership teamAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. Qualifications:0-2 years of relevant experiencePrevious leadership and sales experience preferredProficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applicationsWorking knowledge of related industry practices and standardsDemonstrated organization and time management skillsDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication Education:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
