Job Title: Launch and Engineering ManagerDepartment: Launch and EngineeringReport To: Plant ManagerStatus: Full Time/Salary ExemptJob SummaryResponsible for smooth production startup and ramp up in the plant and coordinates between various departments for smooth transfer from product/project development to regular manufacturing process.QualificationsMinimum of an Associate's Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing or equivalent experience along with the knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree. Injection process experience desirable.Duties & Responsibilities:Act as a liaison with the Project engineering, Purchasing, manufacturing engineering and production shop and responsible for the start of production and ramp up.Communicates customer expectations and concerns to the appropriate persons in the organization.Coordinates and conducts project meetings as needed.Communicates and resolves NYX concerns with all internal customers and suppliers related to engineering or any other concerns at the product launch stage.Monitor timing and delivery of all elements of the project to include tools, fixtures, gages, and all paperwork required by the customer.Helps support production by making arrangements for any special equipment or process requirements. For example: pad printing, conveyors, Welding etc.Support arrangements for gages and fixtures and ensures they work properly and are safe to use.Coordinate a smooth production start-up by providing support on the floor related to process, equipment, layout and training.Coordinates all engineering changes by following NYX IAFT 16949 procedures and customer specific requirements.Track and implement all ECN through product launch and serial life.Supports quality service department in resolving quality problems.Manage and direct personnel as required.Plant Layout Responsible.Responsible for CAPX management for all projects.Knowledge in ISO 9001/IATF 16949.Follow Plant Quality Policy, follow Environmental Policy and follow the IATF 16949/ISO 14001 standards and requirements.Ensure plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards are maintained.Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per monthWork Location: On-site#J-18808-Ljbffr
