Inventory Manager Job DescriptionPosition SummaryResponsible for accurate record keeping of inventory including the tracking of production, shipments, transfers, inventory levels and physical inventory counts for multiple locations.Primary responsibilitiesPlan, organize, direct, manage and evaluate the inventory management activities.Maintain inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures.Oversee daily updates of: stock movement, stock accuracy, cycle count, space optimization.Ensure compliance with all related policies and guidelines by all employees with the goal of 100% Inventory accuracy.Monitor the levels of raw materials and supplies avoiding excessive surplus or shortages.Manage inventory target volumes and advise purchasing to maintain proper levels.Evaluate deliveries, shipments, production and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.Maintain established cycle counting and reconciliation procedures, ensuring frequency of inventory counts meet company and audit requirements.Work to minimize inventory write-offs due to expired or obsolete inventory.Assist finance and sales teams in reconciling inventory related issues.Manage and oversee physical inventory counts and reconciliation at multiple locations on multiple dates per year.Maintain/Establish metrics around the processes to measure improvements such as:Inventory accuracy.Inventory turnover.Non-moving or slow moving inventory SKUs.Skills/Qualifications:Prior experience similar or equal to a Project Manager or Inventory Manager.Microsoft Excel expert.Fast learner.Leadership/management skills.Organizational and logistics skills.Team oriented.Proactive critical thinking.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to communicate effectively across all departments and levels within the organization.English 80% proficient.Work Hours & BenefitsJob Type: Full-timeWork days – Monday thru FridayWork hours – 7:00 am to 4:30 pmSome overtime may be required around quarterly physical inventory counts.ExperienceBachelor's or associate's degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management or similar.Minimum of five years' experience in progressive inventory role in a manufacturing environment.Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies.Salary: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per monthBenefits:Option for permanent contract.Major medical expenses insurance.Life insurance.Work Location: On-site#J-18808-Ljbffr
