Zona: Otay - Lead a team of Maintenance Technicians to support all functions of the fabrication plant's operation.
- Ensure that work is completed in accordance with all Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Manage the maintenance, repair, and/or replacement of plant equipment and systems while ensuring maximum production quantity and quality.
- Perform Maintenance tasks as needed to support the Operation.
- Coordinate activities of outside contractors as needed for facility Maintenance.
- Support the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.
Experiência y requisitos
- A Bachelors' degree in mechanical and/or electrical engineering or at least 5 years of experience is required in the Maintenance Manager Role.
- Additional experience in project management and supervision of direct reports within a production environment is highly desirable.
- At least 3-4 years experience leading teams in a production environment consisting of mechanics and electrical technicians.
- At least 5 years experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.
- A thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
- Strong knowledge of Ergonomics and Lean Manufacturing.
A working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, & Preventive Maintenance Systems.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedure/product manuals and safety rules.
Ability to write general reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages and square footage.
