Company DescriptionJob Description1. Leads and manages a team of engineers & technicians to fulfill & exceed quality requirements for products/processes/customers/systems.2. Coaches 8D team leaders on customer complaints for manufacturing.3. Defines strategy and follows up on internal defect cost (IDC) and fall off rate (FOR) reports and PDCA.4. Defines and deploys strategy to maintain the quality system requirements in the value stream.5. Ensures proper acknowledgment in the analysis by technicians to ensure the correct analysis of parts rejected from production lines.6. Analyzes internal and external quality KPIs and defines measures for improvement in indirect areas.7. Raises and promotes awareness among shop floor personnel about the importance of quality initiatives.8. Maintains regular communication within IPN on Q-related topics. Identifies best practices and defines and deploys actions in the value stream.9. Involves and coordinates projects with the development group that impact manufacturing quality.10. Roles related to the Quality Manual include:
- Training
- Corrective and preventive actions
- Stop production authorityQualificationsProvide technical expertise to troubleshoot and eliminate quality concerns in all phases of testing and processing.Ownership of customer complaints for manufacturing.Track & report IDC and FOR.Participate in and support line releases, taking full responsibility after SOP.Ensure products are in compliance with design rules and manufacturability.Effectively use quality tools (Maturity assessments, Quality Gates, Problem-solving techniques).Follow up and close non-conformities.Additional Information#J-18808-Ljbffr
