RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
Working under tamework of Johnson Controls Continuous Improvement system, will assess current state performance, identify gaps, visualize and establish a plan to get to tture state, monitor progress and share/acquire best-in-class ideas and systems.
Also responsibr developing and manage the capital expenses plr the plant and drive all investment project leaders to implement to budget and schedule.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1.
Responsibr the Best Business Practice (BBPs) system within the plant.
Identifies gaps in Conversion Cost Metriom BBPs, and then work with all levels of the plant in establishing and executing a strater improving them.
2.
Collaborate with leadership to develop a plant CI Roadmap, driving breakthrough or Best-in-Class performance that balances resources between internal plant efficiency and rnal customer-focused effectiveness projects through 1.
Just Do It improvements, 2.
Six Sigma projects, and 3.
Lean Implementation projects.
3.
Is accountable to deliver the plant annual CI savings, BBPs and JCMS goals.
4.
Establishes CI Profit Plan and subsequerecast goals.
Drives team to achieve the corporate goals.
Responsibr creating the project planning and identify new project opportunities.
5.
Using standard tracking and reporting systems, will prepare detailed plans, drive project performance, and assure timely completion and achievement of product / process, and savings goals.
7.
Ensures Process Owner involvement in projects development and Management Team leadership of their CI efforts within their departments.
Assists Process Owners in identifying barriers to project success and helps to drive changes when needed.
8.
Responsibr IDP and succession plannir all CI resources (Lean Implementers and Black Belts).
9.
Document improvement process learning and shares best practices with other CI Managers and Black Belts.
- Assist Plant Manager in any strategic initiative that will help in compliance to standards, implementing new systems, and designing creative that will continuously improve the plant.
- Responsibr the Suggestion Box System at the plant, including implementation of suggestions that require process changes.
- Review project specifications and requirements to assure conformance of product design abrication.
- Proviedback to design engineering to improve the product introduction process.
- Serve as the liaison between the design engineering group and the varionctions in the manufacturicilities such as purchasing, scheduling,, production, engineering, etc.
- Responsibr developing and presenting the plant capital expenses plan each year.
Manage and drive all investments projects and itsleaders to complete all capital projects to budget and to schedule.
16.
Develop CARs necessary to support the new product implementation, major process changes and new technology.
- Responsibr capacity aotprint planning analysis, as well as define capacity undot print requiremenr the volume projected above.
18.
Participate in EHS, & JCMS observations program.
19.
Ensure EHS, & JCMS goals and metrics are established in GPr all employees.
- Comply & assure all people in his/her charge comply with Requirements defined in ASME Manual & all requirements defined in documented information
- Lead and support efforts to improve health and safety conditions in the workplace.
This includes the use of risk analysis to drive improvements in processes, security practices and systems.
- Ensure that security audits are conducted regularly to assess working conditions and potential hazards.
- Ensure training, supervision arce compliance with security procedures, systems and rules.

Measure, monitor and prioritize security issues to ensure continuous improvement.

Manage resources effectively in promoting security.

Lead by example in all matters related to security.
- Communicate key and proactive security messages.REQUIREMENTS:
Engineering degree in mechanical or with minimum of 8 to years of related Importante empresa is required.
Has demonstrated high-level performance in current and previous positions.
Has shown initiative, the desire to drive change and is motivated to exceed expectations
Has strong leadership skills and able to manage both vertically and horizontally
Has sufficient Importante empresa within the Company to be able to understand the organization and its business processes.
Has at least a certification as a Green Belt, and has received certification as a Lean Implementer.
Triple Certified is desired (Lean, Six Sigma, KT).
Has demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise influence without authority.
Ability to work under constrained time scales and demanding work loads.
High proficiency with English language is also required.
Frequent travel could be required.
