.**_PRIMARY FUNCTION:_**Manage the overall resource management and production of the assembly aspects of fluid distribution and electromechanical processes at the Tijuana facility. The position drives continuous improvement in production, quality, and safety while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) and directly responsible for the High Five Business Metrics.**_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: _**- Broad responsibilities and leadership of a multi-disciplined, cross-functional team with overall accountability for performance of assigned businesses.- Direct operations, management of budgets, manning, capacity planning, equipment utilization and scheduling in accordance with SIOP and Absorption plans to meet profit plan.- Plan and coordinate manufacturing departments and support groups to effectively meet customer requirements.- Provide leadership to the teams to meet or exceed the operational objectives of shipments, on-time delivery, past dues, productivity scrap/rework, and overtime utilization.- Implementation and utilization of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and EBS tools for continuous improvement.- Lead cultural change of production work force that embodies the Eaton philosophy.- Serve as a primary advisor on manufacturing systems, capabilities, production status, and forecast demands.- Administer policies, safety and communications within group.- Receive transition LRIP volumes into facility through coordination of transitions team to achieve growth plans.- Launch New Product Introduction by utilizing production equipment and flex production personnel and resources in order to stream line reduce time and costs.- Responsible of production floor layout for lean continuous improvement, product line expansion and future growth.- Responsible for site preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment in order to sustain the level of performance required in productivity and efficiencyLI-MM3**Qualifications**:**_ SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:_**- 5-10 years of related experience.- 5-10 years supervisory/managerial experience within a manufacturing setting.- Previous Aerospace Experience preferred- Experience with MRP and BOM structure preferred.- Project management experience preferred.- Strong project management skills- Good communication skills- Capable of assessing and developing team skills and capabilities- Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills in producing results & meeting organization objectives- CPIM preferred- Six Sigma Black Belt Certified preferred.**_ADDITIONAL INFORMATION_**- All the activities listed above are mentioned but not limited.
