**Job Summary**:This role will be responsible for managing the Operations team to deliver results following Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost standards. As an operations leader it is critical that you champion a positive culture, and act as a change agent for the organization.The Operations Manager will collaborate closely with Engineering and Quality to drive continuous improvement.**Duties and Responsibilities**:- Develop technical and practical understanding of products, manufacturing equipment, and internal processes. Bring a "hands-on" mentality to the role, including spending substantial time on the floor meeting our teams and learning production, processes, materials, etc.- Build effective relationships and provide day-to-day direction to cross-functional teams including EHS, Operations, Maintenance, Customer Service and Quality to meet production goals.- Lead strategy deployment for the operations team concentrating on Operational Excellence.- Understand & lead the incident investigation process with supervisors for any EHS incidents using root cause analysis and problem-solving tools.- Develop a team of supervisors through effective coaching, training and mentoring: identify skill and resources gaps, set goals and conduct performance reviews.- Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives from idea development through full implementation on the production floor.- Lead root cause analysis, create corrective action plans and monitor control measures for all quality escalations.- Collaborate with People Operations to conduct staffing planning, hiring, and training.- Develop systems, metrics and processes that track and optimize productivity.- Other projects or duties as assigned.**Requirements**:- Minimum of 8 years of manufacturing experience.- Career progression from hands-on individual contributor to manager.- Proven track record of implementing Lean, Six Sigma concepts (including Kaizen events) and/or continuous improvement.- Bachelor's degree in engineering.- Ability to interface with and effectively communicate with a broad range of customers, cross-functional teams, as well as executive management.- Proficient in fundamental business systems (MS Office) and previous experience with production management systems (ERP).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Quality management experience is a plus.- Bilingual English/ Spanish- US Visa availableTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoPrestaciones:- Vales de despensaTipos de compensaciones:- Bono de asistencia- Bono de puntualidadPregunta(s) de postulación:- Hablas inglés avanzado?- Cuenta con visa laser vigente?Educación:- Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)Experiência:- Gerente de operaciones: 5 años (Deseable)
