Job Description SummaryThe Planning Manager is responsible for leading the planning function and supervising assigned employees. They ensure the master schedule and line-item schedule meet customer requirements, monitor and manage changes as needed in the facility capacity planning tools, support transfer teams, and are responsible for site backorders while actively managing the resolution of root causes. The Planning Manager must understand GMP regulations as they relate to the planning department and ensure all planning work is performed according to procedures. This role has the authority and total responsibility for master scheduling and planning and may act as the deputy of the direct Supervisor or Department Manager.Required ProfileEducation: College graduate with a bachelor's degree.Knowledge & Training5-10 years of experience in supply chain management or materials management.Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.Experience with budgeting processes.Familiarity with ERP systems, forecasting tools, and techniques for a high-volume manufacturing facility.Preferred certifications in APICS; CPIM or CSCP.Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.Dynamic, positive attitude with good interpersonal and organizational skills.Ability to coach, mentor, and lead others.Proficient in time management.Strong analytical skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.Project management skills.Ability to manage and drive change and continuous improvement.Primary Work LocationMEX Juarez HomecareAdditional LocationsMEX Juarez HealthcareWork Shift#J-18808-Ljbffr
