**Plant Manager**
- **Job Summary**:_

Lead and manage the entire Android production operation within the customer-centric unit, including materials management, assembly, shipping, quality control, maintenance, and manufacturing engineering. Develop and manage policies and guidelines applicable to manufacturing operations. Ensure that operations meet set objectives, including but not limited to safety, quality, delivery, and cost; and develop and promote the Human Resources force at all levels of the entire production operation.
- **Main Job Responsibilities**:_
- Responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring the leadership team and providing them with the skills to lead, coach, and mentor their direct reports.
- Responsible for the effective planning, coordination, and direction of overall Android manufacturing activities; responsible for the safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery of all Android plant operations and team members.
- Responsible for appropriate staffing levels of the Android plant to meet the budgeted financial performance of the Android plant operations.
- Direct the utilization of Android KPIs to effectively track, monitor, and implement required improvement activities related to the business plan, objectives, and plant location issues.
- Drive the implementation of lean manufacturing using required operating procedures, standardized work instructions, and occupational safety analysis.
- Implementation of policies to improve plant performance metrics and meet or exceed customer expectations (productivity targets, cost reduction targets, etc.).
- Work with the sales team to provide input on quotes and new business development activities (pricing, program management, plant capacity, etc.)
- Ensures that the plant complies with all Company policies and procedures.
- Develop, drive and support plant activities to maintain compliance with IATF 16949/ISO14001 and achieve customer awards and quality records.
- Lead the plant safety committee; Assign clear roles and responsibilities for Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and hold all direct reports accountable for ensuring that all required safety and environmental procedures are followed in the performance of daily activities and that all safety devices are properly installed and used.
- Manage the plant's results information that will be reported to SLT.
- Manage and develop relationships with customers and suppliers
- Inter-plant support when required.
- Participation in root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone) to diagnose/prevent/correct faults during the assembly process. Validate and assist in the development of on-site error checking and testing practices.
- Manage and lead the Core Team for the development and integration of the annual Budgets.
- Manage and lead the Core Team to develop and integrate the monthly Forecasts.
- Conduct management review boards according to established programming.
- Follow-up to daily meetings (TOP 5) in the plant with all departments of the organization.
- Provide support, as required, to other areas of the organization.
- **Expectations**:_
- In-depth knowledge of the manufacturing processes of the automotive industry.
- Knowledgeable about Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma process improvements.
- Extensive knowledge of the financial principles of Manufacturing.
- Strong logical and analytical skills to direct the resolution of complex or unusual business problems.
- Action-oriented and innovative in the leadership of Manufacturing operations.
- Process knowledge of plant departments' functions and roles to facilitate overall plant synergy.
- Proven leadership skills and use of teamwork.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills to interact and motivate all levels of team members.
- Ability to mentor and teach team members effective troubleshooting methods for plant and customer-related issues/issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

Qualifications and experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree (preferably in one of the following areas)
- Business Management
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical engineering
- Gender: Indistinct
- Experience: 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of IATF16949 quality systems
