We are the best party hostel in the heart of Playa del Carmen. Stay with us to enjoy a privileged location right on 5th Avenue, with only a 5 min walk from the ADO main bus station, one block from the beach and amongst the highest rated restaurants n bars.
For the work you will be in charge of 3 teams: reception, housekeeping, and maintanence. There is about 6-8 people you will manage day that operate the front desk for check ins and outs, cleaniliness the 18 rooms that are for guests and staff, the upkeep and repairs of rooms and common areas. There is a facility/head manager that will work with to insure the events and licensing of the hostel is in order.
Your major responsibilities:
2. maintain polices for workers, volunteers, and guests so there is order. It can be a crazy place.
3. create the schedules for the week for your teams.
4. Order supplies for guests to use as well as your teams.
5. Create and keep inventory of Merchandise
6. Reward good and long term guests with special upgrades at your decision.
7. Respond and alert staff and guests of problems or dangers ex: wet floors, leaks, low water
8. Create, communicate, and monitor progress of projects for hostel improvement and workflow
9. Incourage high rating of our booking platforms
10. Cover reception shifts for the days off of other receptionists.
