As a Senior Manager Security and Surveillance at Pfizer, reporting to the Legal division, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the security and surveillance measures that directly impact the safety and well-being of our patients.
Your work will contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that protect our assets and ensure the integrity of our operations, ultimately improving patients' lives.
What You Will AchieveIn this role, you will:
Develop and implement comprehensive security and surveillance strategies to protect Pfizer's assetsOversee daily security operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and standardsConduct risk assessments and create mitigation plans for potential security threatsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into business processesManage security incidents, lead investigations, and prevent future occurrencesSet objectives and manage high-complexity projects within the Global Business UnitLead people, technology, and financial resources, including those outside direct authorityShare knowledge across functions and contribute to knowledge management processesChampion innovation, develop resources for innovative ideas, and take appropriate risksDevelop solutions to complex problems and interpret strategy to establish business prioritiesHere Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)BA/BS with at least 6 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 5 years of experience or PhD/JD with at least 1 year of experience or MD/DVM with any years of experienceExtensive experience in security and surveillance managementStrong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standardsProven ability to lead and manage teams effectivelyExcellent project management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in security technologies and systemsExperience in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation plansExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)Advanced degree in a related fieldCertification in security management (e.g., CPP, PSP)Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industryKnowledge of global security trends and best practicesExperience with crisis management and emergency response planningStrong leadership and team-building skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong decision-making and strategic thinking abilitiesProven track record of managing direct reports, fostering a positive and productive work environment
