.As a Jr. Technical Account Manager, you will accomplish the development and adaptation of new products, and assist Production, Process Validation and Quality Control in technical aspects, provide information about formulas, Planning and Costs.Create according to specifications and at low-cost, adaptation of national raw materials, during manufacturing, solve functionality problems in the Customer's line, recover raw material and finished product out of specification.You will report to C&T Product Development Supervisor.**Key Responsibilities**- Coordinate development until approval of new products requested by the Customer, according to their requirements and program for issuing producible formulas.- Adapt formulas to the needs of the production area and technical support to the Production Department, to increase the manufacture of products in efficiency and cost consistency.- Adapt formulas to the needs of the customer's line and technical support to the Technical Service Department, to improve the functionality of the products in the customer's line and prevent or eliminate problems.- Evaluate and re-produce to increase products and reduce cost.- Organize the human and material resources of the work group according to our policies and goals, to help achieve our goals.- Plan and manage the training of own and subordinate personnel to have trained personnel in the position and with growth potential.- Comply, enforce and promote the Safety Culture and Company Policies.- Participate in Quality post-programs and continuous improvement PQP and BPI's to improve productivity, efficiency, product quality and Customer Satisfaction.**Qualifications**- Industrial Chemical Engineer, Chemical Engineer or Chemist.- Experience in personnel management.- Fluent English.- Minimum 5 years of experience in solvent and water based paint formulation.**About us**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.****We are "One PPG" to the world.****We trust our people every day, in every way.****We make it happen.****We run it like we own it.****We do better today than yesterday - everyday.**Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
