Position Purpose:Primary sales contact for assigned area/customer base. Performs weekly sales calls on commercial customers. Works to increase sales through building strong business relationships. Establishes and maintains inventory in accounts that benefit from program. Discusses and sells sales specials and flyer offerings. Acts as a liaison between customer and store team. Ensures complete customer satisfaction. Monitors profitability by utilizing reports. Spends at least 80% of the workday away from AutoZone property performing sales duties. Performs other duties as assigned.Primary Accountabilities:Prospecting of new accounts for all types of commercial customers.Capturing, maintaining, and recovering clients, managing to provoke sales through physical visits to workshops and companies.Using sales tools provided by management, attending to different approaches according to the annual plan.Gathering information in the field with clients and competitors to understand the market situation and be responsible for a category.Training new members of the commercial field team and managing commercial strategies with the operation.Education & Experience:Level of Formal Education: A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.), may include specialized or vocational courses.Years of Experience: Three to five years.Type of Experience: Automotive sales experience, outside sales preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal relations skills required.Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Automotive and/or mechanic.Other/Preferred: Technical clinics, sales technique seminars, college degree.#J-18808-Ljbffr
