Start your future with BorgWarner now!Summary Role DescriptionAs part of a global commodity purchasing team manage the commercial aspects in the procurement of select IT sub-categories on a global basis. Manage the IT sourcing process, ensure solid agreements, manage the supplier portfolio and identify new technology and supplier offerings to advance BorgWarner's cost and innovation position.Main responsibilities- Develop Commodity Strategies and supplier portfolios in close alignment with the IT CoE ('Center of Excellence') and internal stakeholders to create competitive advantage and capture the best value according to BW LA/GS model (local accountability and global strength).- Manage the strategic sourcing of software, and IT services: Specification design, RFQ, quote analysis, negotiation, contract development and implementation.- Ensure an appropriate IT supplier management - incl. supplier evaluation, performance review and escalation processing.- Support the implementation of IT projects (from conception to completion), for a broad range of initiatives, including planning, scheduling, directing, and coordinating supplier resources and activities to meet business requirements and project completion dates.- Lead supplier relationship with KAM (Key Account Manager) for key global suppliers- Manage cost-effectiveness of the area of responsibility, achieving defined cost reduction targets.- Lead development of supply base to meet needs & requirements.- Competitive IT cost position- Solid agreements considering all relevant legal aspects (e.G. GDPR, Information Security)Background, Experience and Minimum Qualifications- At least 10 years' experience in Indirect purchasing, specifically of IT software and services, in a multinational corporation- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, work under tight deadlines, prioritize multiple projects, and handle changing priorities
