.Serve as a Strategic Business Partner, bringing timely and insightful decisions to all strategic and tactical matters as they related to SEC requirements, accounting, audit/SOX compliance and financial analyses, leveraging financial systems and processes that increase clarity, improve efficiency, shorten decision cycle times, and reinforce financial integrity and accountability.**Responsabilities**:Prioritize Workload- Create process improvements as needed- Audit documents- Key documents- Escalate non-responsive suppliers as needed- Work to obtain a new contact when needed- Assist supplier in using Document Solicitation System- Encourage suppliers to use Document Solicitation System- Ability to work in fast-paced environment- Communicate Document errors to suppliers- Pull invoices from Customs system- Solicit suppliers based on portions of invoice- Analyze supplier responses to ensure it matches what was shipped- Work with Origin Team when there are questions on invoices or items that are declared- Solicit Tariff Mismatches to suppliers in Mexico- Question suppliers in Mexico on origin discrepancies- Prepare parent/child relationships with suppliers and provide feedback to customer- Process parts that have decertified and send out decertification report to customers- Address Maintenance processing**Communication and Relationship**- Communicate as needed with Document Solicitation team- Escalating critical issues timely- Excellent Customer Service Skills**Additional Duties**- Assist with critical projects when they arise- Ability to change priorities quickly**Experience**:- Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration / Business Administration or equivalent- Continuous improvement mindset- +2 years Experience in field of Customs**Technical Knowledge Requirements**:- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills- Ability to understand, interpret and compare feedback results- **Non-Technical Skills & Competencies**:- Exceptional organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork and partnerships- Strong oral and written communication skills to all levels of the organization- Must be detail oriented with a passion for quality- High customer service orientation- Ability to "learn on the fly" and work in ambiguity- High level of integrity regarding confidential data (employee survey responses)- Above average English communication skills both in oral and written- Portuguese speaking is a plus but not a requirement**About GM**Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all.**Why Join Us**We aspire to be the most inclusive company in the world
