is searching for a **Global** **In-destination Sales Leader** to join our global in destination sales force. **About the Opportunity**
The Global In Destination Experience Leader is responsible for driving growth of the destination teams by ensuring consistency in the sales process, ensure regular sales and customer training is being conducted, identifying new product opportunities and in corporation with product commence development, setting benchmarks and targets for sales performance, monitor low performanceers and upskill to exceed targets, establishing motivational reward and recognition systems for our sales teams.
You will work with Director of Operations, Regional Manager, Country Managers and IDE Leaders to identify new partnership opportunities and sales channels to achieve the growth in revenue.
You will use your extensive leadership experience to provide vision, inspiration and strategy to our in-country teams and be responsible for operationalizing the strategies as agreed with the Director of Operations.
The In-Destination markets are Mexico, Thailand (Phuket) and Indonesia (Bali)
**Your main responsibilities are**:
- Lead the One Best Way Sales Experience across all markets
- Ensure the experience and look of outlets are aligned and the look is standardized across the Globe.
- Lead the OTA sales development and expansion, you are in change of meeting OTA sales expectations and lead Discova's OTA strategy.
- You will work with Country Managers (CMs) and local Host Team Leaders to identify new partnership opportunities and sales channels to achieve growth in revenue.
- Support RGM in developing and implementing product strategy for the region.
- Lead product development for key accounts and new business opportunities in conjunction withh Product leaders, Host Team Leader and CM's to ensure our offering is differentiated and competitively priced.
- Proactively collaborate with product leader to develop products for key partners in line with destination trends.
- In collaboration with the product leaders, mManage product to market process from product creation, pricing, distribution, training and support.
- Create and enforce One Best Way processes to improve speed of product to market.
- Ensuring daily/weekly and monthly targets and tracking is communicated to teams via Host Team Leader and sales area Town Halls.
- Identifying sales leakage and proactively and swiftly implement strategies to minimize these.
- Deploy the Discova brand attributes and value proposition to create a unique positioning in each market.
**About you**
The Essentials:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leading a high performing sales team in more than one market, it's an advantage if it includes Mexico, Thailand and Indonesia.
- A bachelor's degree or a certificate in tourism and hospitality is an advantage.
- Fluent in written and spoken English. A national language would be an advantage.
- Proven track record in strong sales and excellent business acumen.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to foster teamwork, promoting diversity and inclusion.
- You are a leader who implements their negotiating skills, motivation and creativity, and proactively grows sales in the business.
- You are willing to move to/already live in Cancun, Mexico
