Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Don Julio Marketing Manager to lead the development of brand strategy, communications, and sustainability initiatives for our core tequila portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with a global approach who can collaborate efficiently, build relationships across borders, and implement with excellence to get results.
Key Responsibilities: Brand Strategy Development:Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive brand strategies that align with Diageo's category vision and market demands.Partner with Consumer Planning to conduct market research to identify trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.Collaborate with regional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in brand positioning across all markets.Communications Management:Develop and oversee global communication plans that effectively convey brand messages across various channels.Work closely with creative agencies to produce compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.Ensure all communications adhere to brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.Sustainability Initiatives:Drive sustainability initiatives in line with Diageo's 2030 society vision.Partner with internal team members and external organizations to implement balanced practices throughout the supply chain.Monitor and report on the impact of sustainability efforts on brand equity and business performance.Collaboration & Relationship Building:Develop positive relationships with key partners in build markets around the globe.Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between marketing, sales, innovation, and other relevant teams.Act as a link between global strategies and local execution, ensuring seamless integration of initiatives.Execution Excellence:Coordinate the execution of marketing campaigns from concept through completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.Apply data-driven insights to measure campaign efficiency and optimize future efforts.Maintain a high standard of quality in all marketing activities to improve brand reputation.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; MBA preferredExperience in global marketing roles within the beverage or consumer goods industry a plusConsistent record of developing successful brand strategies and handling large-scale omnichannel marketing campaignsStrong communication and presentation skillsSelf-starter and results driven with the ability to drive impact through othersPassion for building sustainable / purpose driven brandsTrack record of building, growing and inspiring impactful teamsExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence key partners at all levelsSkills & Attributes: Global Approach: Ability to think strategically about global markets while appreciating local nuances.
