Global Financial Systems Accountant

Partner with global finance, GES, and IT to deploy and enhance global information systems. Provide accounting expertise as a critical member of cross-functional teams supporting strategic enterprise applications (Infor LN, Coupa, Cognos, XM, Oracle etc.). Support global finance process owners with system expertise and finance knowledge.Change leadership & team membership Skills:Communicate effectively while working with all levels of the organization to champion changeIndependently analyze a wide-variety of financial systems & processesActively participate on teams to provide financial expertiseServe as liaison between global process owners & financial systemsRecommend, design & test creative solutions that challenge traditional processesGlobal Systems & Finance Technical Skills:Global finance master data - accounts, dimensionsLN/5c finance modules (GL/AR/AP/Cash/Fixed Assets)LN/5c logistics & integrations (projects, service, sales, purchasing, etc.)Inquiry, reporting & analyticsCoupa, Cognos, XM/STARS, FieldBase, Oracle/HyperionGeneral accounting: reconciliations, journals, inter-company, controlsBackground/Requirements:Requires a 4-year degree, preferably in accountingMust demonstrate initiative, leadership, good judgment and the ability to communicate effectivelyDemonstrate very good communication skills and have a comprehensive knowledge of Caterpillar businesses, products, suppliers and customers4-6 years of accounting experience is recommended.Experience with LN including finance master data, transactions, & reporting highly desiredMust be willing to relocate to Tijuana, Mexico#J-18808-Ljbffr
