**About the position**:This role will be an integral part of the Ethics, Risk, & Compliance (ERC) team and will work closely with our Legal, Finance, People, and Global Operations teams.
This role will ensure that the Company adheres to health and safety employment requirements around the globe.
The position is perfect for an individual with strong health and safety expertise, and a willingness to build a program.
**What you'll do**:- Research, interpret, and stay on top of local health and safety regulations.
Update documentation and make recommendations to management for compliance improvements.- Work with customers and vendors around the globe to establish health and safety-related committees, as well as best practices.- Conduct health and safety risk assessments and work with stakeholders (both internal and external) on mitigation plans.- Lead accident investigations and document findings.- Work with both internal and external stakeholders on the investigations- Coordinate regulatory activities and speak to regulators, as needed.- Participate in regulatory health and safety audits.- Document findings and suggest and manage mitigation plans.- Develop and deliver health and safety trainings, as required.
**What we are looking for**:- A bachelor's degree with a focus in health and safety and/or human resources- CSP or related certification, preferred.- Fluent in Spanish, preferred.- Experience working with external parties, such as customers, regulators, and vendors, on health and safety efforts.- Ability to collaborate and speak to all levels of the organization.- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills, with an ability to see the bigger picture across the organization and business model
