**Job Description**:
**Key Job Responsibilities**:
Lead and participate in deep architectural design discussions to ensure your prototypes are crafted for customer innovation success. Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to our innovation team customers, and internal business partners that are considering a customer innovation prototyping engagement.
Be a Thought Leader for your area of domain expertise across customer innovation. Share best-practice knowledge among the burgeoning customer innovation solutions architect community and the broader Rockwell community.
Author or contribute to customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs, etc.
Act as a technical contact between customers, our sales team, professional services teams, and other stakeholders also involved in the engagements.
You will report to the Global Innovation Leader in your region.
**Qualifications**:
6+ years within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
Ability to travel up to 30% globally
Industry leading programming languages (Java, JavaScript), best practices (DevOps, CI/CD) and methodologies/frameworks (Agile/Scrum).
Comfortable communicating, collaborating, and working in high visibility
Strong contributor
Comfortable with ambiguity
High energy, driven and enthusiastic about opportunities to establish and implement new approaches.
Comfortable working in high visibility, high pressure situations
Focused on getting things done
Proven ability to deliver innovative prototypes that meet or exceed customer expectations. Track record of success driving adoption of disruptive technologies across diverse industries.
Demonstrated coding experience.
Ability to work independently on ambiguous and evolving projects within and agile and growing team
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other relatable discipline
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Strong customer-facing experience in software, hardware or integrated systems design and delivery.
Technical depth in an emerging technology area such as Data/Analytics, PdM, Advanced controls, Edge/IoT, AR/XR, or AI/ML.
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for software development life cycle. Familiarity with agile frameworks is highly desirable.
Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Azure and/or AWS Knowledge and Certification
Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other relatable discipline or related experience.
