If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.Main purposeOrbia B&I is uniquely positioned to help our customers address water & energy challenges, by offering sustainable customer solutions for water supply, sanitation, climate-resilient cities & better building performance. As Global Manager LCA & EPD you are responsible for creating and maintaining the creation of LCA and EPDs for the full product range of Orbia B&I.Main responsibilities:Conduct the creation of LCAs and manage the verification and publication of EPDs of B&I full product range.Manage and operate the third party LCA software.Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and procurement to collect the relevant environmental data.Develop a maintenance/update plan (how to make new EPDs/keep existing ones up to date).Interpret results and define improvement projects with procurement, logistics, operations and product management.Act as key point of contact for all LCA and EPD related questions throughout the organization.Guide the various stakeholders through the subject of LCAs, EPDs and support them on opportunities and improvements identified via the calculations.Educate and train the commercial teams on the value of LCA & EPD in customer propositions.Monitor market and regulatory trends on LCA and EPDs.Our requirements:Master's degree in relevant field – Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering or data focused study.Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in comparable or related jobs (sustainability), and at least 2 years of experience with LCA/EPD projects and LCA Software.Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment and Environmental Product Declarations, related to methodologies, standards, verification processes and international developments.Language(s) and level of proficiency: English (fluent), Spanish language skills are a plus and other European language skills (German, French, Dutch etc.) are a plus for local collaboration.Good IT skills, and proficient in working with LCA/EPD software technologies (Ecochain)
