Global Materials Coordination and Special Projects manager position has two primary tracts of responsibility. The global materials coordination tract includes responsibility for daily and ongoing management of raw material issues to resolve issues, and to identify process improvements that minimize material issues, reduce costs and churn to your team. The special projects tract of this position includes responsibility for managing projects within the supply chain function to lead excellence and best practices across regions and within regions.
This Job is located in #LI-Hybrid within Queretaro and will report to Manager.
**Key** Responsibilities**
- identify risks in the raw material supply chain and work with technical and Procurement to mitigate those risks.
- use data and analytics to implement raw material cross-buy and localization opportunities within regions to deliver cost savings to the business.
- work with the supply chain teams, procurement and purchasing organizations, and the supplier community on a global scale.
- cover all aspects of supply chain including order management, transportation and distribution
- streamline the flow of information and materials to minimize supply issues, improve on time deliveries, reduce risks to customer service levels.
**Qualifications**
- An understanding of supply chain systems along with 10 or more years' experience in inventory management, demand planning, operations planning, manufacturing, or distribution is required.
- Knowledge of the Automotive Business and navigation of the systems
- English written and verbal communication skills, including ability to work with customers throughout the organization. (B1 CEFR)
