The Opportunity
The Category Coordinator will be responsible for leading and managing the enablement of data stewardship, as well as enhancing information access to achieve digital efficiency. This role will support "Make transformation" by continuous improvement across all categories by centralizing information, standardizing processes, and ensuring governance, thereby keeping the team competitive and efficient amidst high operational demand.
The role will create value and foster the growth of PMF by coordinating the INNO – Agenda for MAKE. Additionally, it will build a unified digital information architecture across Make to ensure data integrity and accessibility, this role will be able to execute projects to enable regional inno-productivity and efficiency solutions.
All subcategories (Facilities, MRO, Energy) are classified on Indirects MAKE scope and will be supported by Cat Coordinator.
Your Impact
As Global Proc Ind Sr Coordinator your responsibilities would consist of:
Accountable for foster PMF growth by Make Inno-agenda coordination.
Responsible for accelerate collab-model on cross-functional teams to establish harmonized practices across categories.
Responsible for Make spend consolidation and Single Source of Truth management.
Contribute to development of continuous improvement strategies that enable efficiency mapping through information analysis.
Contribute on enablement of digitalization projects that optimize operational and commercial processes.
Responsible for drive Make governance systems to ensure policy compliance, risk management, and operational accountability.
Capable of enable Mexico agenda focused on efficiency, technology, and Inno-solutions in the short to mid-term.
Contribute on development of a local 12-month strategy bridge in accordance with Latam COE´s 3-yrs plan.
Support the Procurement Indirects Transformation.
Who Are We Looking For?
Functional knowledge: +4 years in category management / sourcing processes / project management.
Desirable experience in Procurement Indirects and project management, preferably within the Food & Beverage industry.
Bachelor's Degree in Admin, Business / Industrial Engineering.
Strong analytical and financial skills; solid understanding of general business economics, key cost, and quality drivers.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships in cross-functional teams and influence across a matrix organization.
Ability to translate complex situations into simple messages for executive-level communication.
Advanced language skills: Spanish and English are essential, both verbal and written.
Results and action-oriented: Comfortable with change, setting and achieving stretch targets.
