RIGHT NOW.**Title**: Global Security Manager**Primary Location**: Mexiko (MX) - Nuevo León JD Shared Svcs-Monterrey**Function**: Security**Major Purpose**:Provides leadership to the Regional Security Managers and security professionals across the enterprise. Oversees the regional security function and implementation of programs and standards at the unit level. Serves as a liaison between world-wide security and government bodies to ensure compliance. Performs the employee Human Resources (HR) functions including work direction, coaching and developing, pay and performance to regional managers.**Main Responsibilities**:- Supervises and directs John Deere Worldwide regional security operations in handling major security issues such as bomb threats, labor disputes, criminal and ethical violations, workplace violence situations, kidnappings, crisis management situations, site investigations, and regional executive protection.- Provides professional expertise in investigating major/complex security breaches often resulting in substantial business losses and/or major threats to enterprise assets, employees, visitors, or the reputation of the company.- Prepares for civil court proceedings which may include conducting interviews, locating/examining evidence, taking depositions, providing testimony and strategizing litigation efforts.- Provides regional oversight and strategic direction to enterprise contract security providers as well as John Deere units to ensure the proper safety/security of physical assets, proprietary information, employees and visitors.- Implements auditing standards for security, fire, life safety, and facility security assessments on a regional level to coordinate with enterprise initiatives.- Coordinate with Executive Protection Lead to oversee regional personal protection assignments and services for special events such as Board of Director's Meetings, executive protection, product shows, visiting dignitaries, as well as other major events.- Maintains close liaison with regional law enforcement agencies, criminal justice prosecutors, governmental units, private organizations and similiar corporate functions to assure that in decision making processes the needs of the enterprise are met
