From engineering and manufacturing to brand development, design and innovation, we are dedicated to providing unique solutions to exceed our customers' expectations and fuel consumers' desire for glass.**Job Description**:**ABOUT THE ROLE**:- The Global Sourcing Manager's objective is to create a sustainable competitive advantage whilst delivering financial performance objectives by designing and implementing the specific category's procurement strategy, through the deep understanding of the category, its long and short term market dynamics and trends, by identifying the key drivers that influence the price structure in Total System Cost approach.- She/he will focus on the demand side to optimize cross-functionally the requirements in terms of cost/functionality and to define saving programs through consumption optimization, specification challenge, and supplier base management.**JOB PURPOSE**:- Support Strategic Sourcing Process for CAPEX: Planning, Definition, Proposition and Execution upon PLT validation.- Coordinate Context and Event Negotiation Planning and actively participate in negotiation with suppliers together with the PLT Members.- Coordinate CAPEX related logistic facilitating replication of best practices for best total delivered cost per plant, and inform the CAPEX Procurement network.- Be the Exploration Team Member for CAPEX of TSC Program- Develop and implement a global Commodity Management strategy, tying into global strategies where possible.- Support Supplier Development programs to maximize value from incumbents and to identify and establish alternate suppliers- Working with regional Product Management and Engineering in support of the New Product Introduction process.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Successfully contracting suppliers to provide O-I with cost-optimized commodities.- Develop Commodity Strategy: Assist Purchasing and Commodity Managers in the development and execution of long-term supply strategy, landed cost modeling, supplier opportunity assessments, supplier financial analysis, make/buy analyses, negotiations and long-term contract establishment
