The successful candidate will play a key role in advising businesses on optimal accounting practices, managing the books for small to medium-sized clients, and utilizing financial modeling techniques to drive informed decision-making. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks is essential for success in this role.Job FunctionsProvide expert advice to clients on best accounting practices and financial strategies.Assess client needs and develop tailored financial solutions to optimize their accounting processes.Manage and maintain the books for assigned clients reporting under cash or accrual basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Includes preparing journal entries, asset depreciation schedules, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and reconciliation of bank statements.Perform regular reconciliations and financial reviews to identify and address discrepancies.Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.Software ProficiencyUtilize advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks to streamline financial processes and create insightful presentations.Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in accounting software to enhance service delivery.Client CommunicationCultivate strong relationships with clients through clear and effective communication.Present financial information in a comprehensible manner, fostering client understanding and confidence.Compliance and ReportingEnsure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports for clients.Qualifications and RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience is required.Previous experience as a Financial Analyst.Professional certification (e.G., CPA) is a plus.Proven experience in accounting consulting or a similar role.Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks.Great English level both written and spoken.Knowledge of financial modeling techniques and principles.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Located in Latin America or the Caribbean
