.**DTC Newsletter **is a fast-growing marketing newsletter, delivering actionable insights to over 150,000 DTC marketers.Our model is built upon the core values of Alignment and Transparency, which means that, unlike traditional newsletters which win by selling off their subscribers, we win by delivering content that drives significant value.Alongside our small team of writers, educators, and marketers, we need a **Graphic Designer / Brand Vision Owner **to help us accomplish our product goals and work alongside an amazing team.**WHO WE ARE**DTC Newsletter is the world's top media source for up to the minute advice and insights about growing, scaling, and finding success as a DTC brand online.We put out five issues on a weekly basis, full of fully actionable education about traffic platforms like Meta Ads, TikTok, and Google, as well as more strategic things like CRO (conversion rate optimization), product strategy, and more.**ABOUT THE POSITION**We are looking for more than a designer. We're looking for a _brand owner_. We're looking for someone who can both create beautiful designs, and be responsible for the look and feel of the brand as a whole.You'll be great for this role if you love design and are also thoughtful and analytical enough to consider the broader implications of a design.For instance, we're looking for someone who, if we ask them for a new hero for our website, would be able to consider our brand guidelines, and all of the other designs we have in the wild, and create a hero that is consistent with all of those.In other words, we're looking for someone who is comfortable taking responsibility for the cohesiveness of our brand as a whole, and doesn't require the rest of the team to point out fundamental inconsistencies.**REQUIREMENTS**:- 5+ years of design experience- Experience with web design and branding- Has been the sole owner of a brand's identity in the past- Is able to create and adhere to strict brand guidelines- Fluent in English, has a direct communication style**ESSENTIAL QUALITIES**:- Is able to proactively own the look and feel of a brand- Is able to clearly identify whether a design conforms to a brand guideline- Is able to identify potential design risks, and propose solutions that maintain the integrity of the brand- Is creative and passionate about design**THE DAY-TO-DAY**:- Completing small-scale design projects like thumbnails for videos (approximately 20%)- Working on long-term, large projects such as redesigning our brand guide, or helping us to redesign our website (approximately 60%)- Communicating about designs, ideating with the rest of the team (approximately 10%)- Identifying brand / design risks and proposing solutions (approximately 10%)**APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS** - friendly hint - don't miss this part ; )Along with your resume, please submit a cover letter and a brief explanation of why you are interested in this position
