PRIMARY FUNCTION:As a Graphic Designer at BGCAA, you will play a pivotal role in visually communicating our mission, programs, and impact to our diverse audiences. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and communications team to design and produce a wide range of materials, including digital and print collateral, social media graphics, event signage, reports, and more. We are looking for a creative individual with a passion for nonprofit work and a keen eye for design.KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):- Design and produce compelling visual assets that effectively communicate our nonprofit's mission, programs, and impact.- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop design concepts and strategies for various projects and campaigns.- Ensure all design materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all channels.- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in graphic design, as well as emerging technologies and tools.- Provide creative input and contribute ideas to enhance the overall effectiveness of our communications and marketing efforts.- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized design projects.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:- Brainstorm creative concepts with Marketing and other internal teams to create or support new products such multimedia presentations, membership messaging/graphics, digital marketing efforts- Attends staff meetings as prescribed- Perform other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.- Proven experience (3+ years) working as a graphic designer, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including both digital and print materials.- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles, and graphic design best practices.
