**Job Summary**:Audits the gross profit transactional data impacting the financial margin for accuracy. Initiates debits, credits and rebill requests in a timely and accurate manner within contract specifications.**Principal Responsibilities**:- Audits daily price decrease reports to ensure validity of costs.- Communicates with suppliers and processes debits for cost decreases of inventory on hand to recoup gross profit.- Researches discrepancies brought up by supplier. Dispositions supplier disputes as necessary.- Audits invoice cost discrepancies and determines validity of cost billed. Adjusts inventory cost or debits supplier and prepares corrections to P & L.- Maintains inventory cost by auditing inventory transactions and adjusting inventory cost accordingly. Processes debit memos to supplier and corrections to P & L.- Submits claims, resolves rejections and determines root cause on all ship and debit preapproval rejections.- Provides documents, screens prints, other data to supplier audit teams for compliance and inventory reconciliation purposes.- Prepares various reports to track dollars, line items, and monthly department activity.- Other duties as assigned.**Job Level Specifications**:- Acquired and applies working knowledge of the organization, job, practices and procedures to be proficient in all aspects of job.- Performs functions semi-routine in nature and recognizes the need for occasional alternative solutions.- Work is performed independently, with mínimal supervision.
