Group Counsel

**Eduaction**:Superior academic achievement and must be admitted to practice law in at least one State**Work Experience**- Ideally 3-5 years broad based commercial and corporate law experience in a law firm and/or multinational company- Fluency in Spanish and English languageStrong communications skills**Main Responsabilities**- Advise internal clients and review and interpret legal issues in assigned areas of responsibility.- Prepares, interprets and reviews quotes, agreements, contracts, pleadings, documents and correspondence.- Provides legal support and recommends optimal (and practical) course of action when disputes arise.- Provides proactive support to avoid problems.
Focus on strategic initiatives to efficiently manage risk.- Manages outside legal counsel and monitors, supervises and evaluates their representation of YFI, both in terms of their expertise and cost.- Proposes, develops and monitors preventive law and compliance programs to reduce company exposure to legal risks.- Keeps abreast of trends and changes in the law and regulations relevant to the automotive industry.- Commercial, Corporate, Real Estate and Corporate Governance experience.- Train the functional teams to be proficient in key terms and contract law.Develop templates, self-help tools, policies, procedure and best practices.
