SummaryThe Groups, Event & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing and supervising the operation of the hotel's groups, events and weddings in order to ensure that the contracted services are provided in a timely manner in accordance with the quality and service standards established by the Hyatt International Corporation brand.She also assists the Marketing & PR area with the planning, implementation and monitoring of Marketing, Advertising, Branding and Public Relations activities.**Qualifications**:**Essential Profile**:- Ability to communicate effectively in English (speaking, reading, writing) with guests, co-workers and management to their comprehension.- Ability to perform assigned tasks with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-up, courtesy, cooperation and work with a minimum of supervision.- Ability to calculate and manipulate mathematical calculations accurately.- University graduate in marketing, communication or similar- Previous experience in hospitality, sales and groups.- Punctuality and regular and reliable assistance.- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with clients and co-workers.**Desirable Profile**:- Previous hotel or administrative experience of one to two years, ideally in group sales and customer service.- Computer knowledge in Windows environment and previous experience with automated hotel management system.- University degree, Marketing or related.- Knowledge of the general procedures of the hotel, clients and hotel systems related to groups such as Opera, Envision EAS, Social Table,, Medallia EventBzz- Ability to deal with customers, internal and external staff, gather accurate information and resolve conflicts.
