The Senior Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all plant operations to meet production, quality, and efficiency objectives. Focused on process optimization, achieving value expectations, and ensuring accuracy in sorting and yield percentages, this role is key to managing critical indicators and ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.Specific responsibilities:Production Planning and Organization:- Establish and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly production targets, ensuring sorting volumes meet performance expectations.- Design and implement production plans, allocating resources to achieve quality percentages, classification values, and delivery timelines.Quality Control and Value Expectation Compliance:- Supervise sorting processes to ensure compliance with established acceptable item percentages for each value category.- Implement quality controls at each stage to ensure accuracy in garment classification according to assigned value.Performance Indicator Management and Reporting:- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as operational efficiency, value target achievement, and production compliance percentage.- Prepare and submit periodic reports to the Director of Operations on production status and plant performance.Team Supervision and Staff Development:- Supervise area supervisors and plant personnel to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.- Develop training and continuous improvement programs for the team, focusing on sorting skills and achieving garment value and percentage objectives.Resource and Cost Management:- Manage material and human resources efficiently to optimize production costs.- Collaborate with TECMA to implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining quality and value standards.Compliance with Safety and Hygiene Standards:- Implement and monitor compliance with safety and hygiene standards within the plant.Requirements:Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferredBachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years in plant operations management in a manufacturing or sorting environmentKnowledge of labor relations (LFT, IMSS, STPS).
