As a Purchasing operations agent, you will be responsible for optimizing tail-spend purchasing processes across multiple markets, locations and spend categories. The focus is on streamlining the long tail of suppliers across multiple categories, achieving cost reductions while meeting high quality and service requirements. A Tail Spend Program Lead is essential to maintaining control over non-strategic suppliers and ensuring efficient procurement processes. The Tail Spend Program Lead will work closely with Category/Sourcing Managers, Regional Sourcing Team and Shared Services Associates for Procurement.
.Main activities:
- Roadmap: Create a robust Tail Spend Reduction and Optimization action plan with different paths across categories.
- Tail Spend Oversight: As a tail spend category lead, you'll be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's tail spend solution. This includes controlling and mapping purchasing expenditure at all non strategic suppliers.
- Performance Management: You'll be accountable for the performance of the tail spend provider. This involves monitoring savings delivery, key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and other relevant metrics.
- Savings Targets: Achieving savings targets is a critical aspect of the role. You'll work to optimize costs, reduce unnecessary spend, and enhance overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 4+ year of strong Analytical Skills
- 3+ year of proven Procurement Expertise
- 2+ years of Supplier Relationship Management.
- Advanced English Skills.
