Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a GTM Senior Analyst.
**What you'll do**:
**Job Summary**
This position is responsible for ensuring financial accounting activities at the location are in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, local statutory requirements using the established systems and procedures of the Eaton's Global Trade Management team. The major role of the GTM Analyst is to ensure temporary inventory to fulfill with all Mexican Customs regulations for the site. This position is responsible to ensure the compliance in customs clearance, duties, tariffs codes and certificates of origin of materials and equipment to and from Mexico. This position is also responsible for maintaining and updating compliance regulatory requirements and procedures, to monitor all the obligations to maintain certifications such as OEA, IVA, IEPS, etc, as well reporting metrics or KPIs of their operation in charge.
**Responsibilities**:
A. Execute all applicable Mexico import/export compliance processes and procedures in conjunction with various Trade Compliance functions within Eaton and external resources; to perform, maintain and enhance the import and export operations.
B. Provide Customs clearance support to the business including crossdock, Hazmat, reworks, services operations; regularization process, virtual operations.
C. Invoicing in TSMX (Vastera) System (Annex 24), making sure of the data integrity of Trade Compliance processes.
D. Register Export Part Number in Vastera System with no discrepancies in Tariff codes.
E. Ability to work with the business to validate the necessary information related with Raw Materials, Finish goods, outsourced services requested to clear customs in compliance with Mexican regulations.
F. Collaborate to achieve metrics and goals related with Global Trade Compliance KPI's.
G. Weekly meetings with customs agents to monitor de operation.
H. Analyze, develop and perform the correct applicability of Government programs (PROSEC, Rule 8th).
I. Analyze and Update Annex 24 according with our ERP system. (Boms, production orders, new part number, Backflush process, etc.)
J. Analysis support of the discrepancies between inventory Annex 24. 30 and ERP including root causes (walk the dock).
K. regulations applicable to import and export trade operations to grant the business tax health).
L. Detect improvement areas through methodologies as 5W, 8D and develop actions plans with internal areas to enhance IMMEX, VAT cert and Tax compliance.
**Qualifications**:
**Education level required**
- Bachelor degree in Trade Compliance, International business and/or Customs Law, finance or similar
**Years and area of experience required**
- 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment with cost accounting is a plus
- Fluent English
**Skills**:
**Technical knowledge**
- Experience on Mexican Trade Law and compliance regulations, International Trade, experience CTPAT, AEO, VAT certifications, IMMEX PROSEC programs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specially spreadsheet software packages Excel, Understanding of global business issues, including foreign currency impacts, SAP broad knowledge and ability, Oracle manufacturing knowledge a plus.
