**Guest Service Agent in Canada**
The Guest Service Agents are responsible for delivering exceptional guest service as they affect the guest experience at every level - by phone, in person and behind the scenes - it is imperative that the Guest Service Agent is friendly, respectful and helpful at all times; the key responsibility of the Guest Service Agent is to be responsive to the needs of the guest and fellow team members at all times, all the while living up to our Canalta Mission and Vision
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Provide assistance and courtesy as needed to guests and team members, reinforcing all of Canalta's policies and procedures
- Observe all safety and security policies and practices that impact the welfare of you, the guests, the team members and the condition of the facility
- Perform check-in and check-out functions with courtesy, speed and accuracy
- Maintain accountability/balancing for till, cash receipts, deposits, credit card transactions and shift reports
- Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest and team member requests
- Report all hazards in all guest and team member areas
- Perform other duties as may be required by the general manager
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience working in hotel and accommodations an asset
- Previous experience working as a front desk agent/guest service agent an asset
- Standing for the duration of your shift is required
- Computer skills involving standard office software and equipment an asset
- Use of POS systems experience an asset
**Salary**:$18 / hour
**Vacation**: 2 weeks per year after first year worked
