Global Workplace Projects (GWP) is the organization accountable for all the Capacity expansions, key sustainability projects and other complex projects within The LEGO Group. The organization set-up is regional, having a Head of Global workplace at the main construction sites.

The Head of Workplace Projects, has a mix of a generalist knowledge and E2E LEGO Value Chain insight combined with people leader experience - as example the Head of Workplace Projects need insight in all types of standards and functions and the relations between these functions inside LEGO Operations to be able to maneuver the projects most efficient and create the highest degree of coherence. On the other hand, the Head of Workplace Projects needs deep Program and Project Management knowledge and insight; using years of experience to know when to activate different methods and tools.

A typical program involves several complex projects, between 100 and 250 employees and a lot of external suppliers/partners, with project budgets between 1 billion Dkk up to 5 billion Dkk. The internal involved departments are typically MD&I, GWP Eng, CIT, Procurement, Global Planning, Legal, Security, Engineering & Quality, LOM Operations team and others.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Is the people leader of between 7 to 12 highly committed and capable project Directors, Senior project managers, Project managers, Specialists and others
- Has the mandate and responsibility - inside the approved scope and budget - to manage and implement the projects from design over construction to realization.
- Ensuring that trade off discussions is made with the partners to find best possible solutions.
- Establish and run program teams (25-50 employees) - with kick off, ongoing communication and alignment and run Stream meetings including giving recommendations and identifying trade offs.
- Has the obligation to ensure that the program and/or projects follow the LEGO Project Model and for construction projects - the GWP Project Model and all related processes.
- Driver of the Program Steering Committee meetings.
- Evaluate and feedback on program and project participants performance and deliveries - both to employee and manager.
- People leader of GWP LOM team, responsible for Motivation and Satisfaction, employees and team development.
- Strong role model of Leadership playground behaviors.
- Key member of GWP Leadership Team, with a balance responsibility of influencing and adding to the strategic priorities of the area, the team performance and the development of GWP as a functional and key area for Operations.

- 6 years' experience leading construction projects. Master/bachelor's in engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of MS office products, plus solid experience in performing projects using Stage Gate Model philosophy and other relevant project methods.
- Proven track record of demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Have managed project with 100 - 250 persons involved in the team.
- Good proven people leadership skills, managing mangers and all levels of people as well as internal and external stakeholders.
- High collaboration and high-quality demand for own and others
- An understanding of the K-12 education marketing or educational industry is an advantage
- Ability to be nimble and adaptable
- Strong analytic approach, critical thinking and data driven
