The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and COO and the executive team to make decisions regarding the company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to provide actionable insights to senior management.
Monitor and assess financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and make recommendations for improvement.
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Ensure accurate and timely financial transactions and records in compliance with both U.S. and Mexican accounting standards.
Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing effective internal controls and risk management strategies.
Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in both countries.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
Proven experience as a financial leader, ideally in a multinational company.
In-depth knowledge of U.S. and Mexican accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems and advanced Excel.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
