Tasks and Responsibilities- Supporting the Fronius Executive Management Board in issues concerning finance and controlling.- Preparation of annual budget requirements for the Finance and controlling function.- Responsible for allocating and posting current transactions (i.E., general ledger accounting and purchasing invoices).- Responsible for analysis and examination of book entries and accounts.- Calculation of investment decisions and tax consequences.- Responsible to ensure monthly and annual balance sheets comply with legal requirements and best accounting best practices.- Complete reports and provide information as required- Supervise and train subordinates and ensure professional finance and accounting principles are followed.- Responsible to register with states and file sales & use tax where applicable.- Understands tax consequences and regulations with regards to shipping domestically.- Coordinate with management team to foster an understanding of the Finance Department role in daily operations.- Organize the Finance Department to promote optimum team effort and attain established goals and objectives.- Instill the Fronius Way philosophy into daily operations and employee interaction- Requirements-- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in finance and accounting- Current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Masters' in Accounting (MBA)- Minimum of Ten years professional experience in accounting and finance- Experience in office management- Working knowledge of finance, budgeting, and cost control principles including generally accepted accounting principles- Knowledge of federal, state and local financial regulations, with regard to taxes and all applicable business financial requirements- Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis- Working experience with ERP-system. BaaN ERP system preferred- Ability to work independently and as a team member- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to analyze financial /controlling data, preparing reports and maintaining prescribed standards- Languages-- Spanish as a mother tongue- Fluent English skills (spoken and written) are required for daily communication with international colleagues (B2)
