**Job Description**:
The main missions of the position are:
- to lead Finance SSC in Mexico to meet the requirement of the Service Level Agreement (SLA), productivity target, and align with the group direction
- to lead all aspects of Mexico legal entity financial management to align with the internal standards and meet the external and statutory requirements.
- to act as local leader to cascade and support group and regional direction, ensure controls are adequate and effective to meet expectations
- to lead teams through talent management (hire, retain and develop), upgrade finance processes and improve organization effectiveness
- to manage priorities in a changing environment, adopt a hands-on approach to work closely with the team and the key stakeholders to identify problems, recommend and implement solutions
As Chief Accountant, you are responsible for:
- Lead Finance Shared Service Center
- Ensure proper governance structure, and the creation and management of the service level agreement (SLA) with the clients (beneficiary entities)
- Develop Shared Service mid-term and long-term plan, identify clients' needs, productivity target, and align with corporate direction
- Develop and implement Shared Service operating model, including the interaction framework with the clients, migration of business process activities to SSC, master data management, optimization of business processes through KPI tracking, back-up plan, create proper documentation of SOPs
- Achieve productivity gains and higher quality of service by leveraging organization realignment, economies of scale, technology, client interaction framework, standardized end-to-end processes, and best practices
- Optimize processes related to data production and ensure compliance to Group's processes (standardization)
- Lead and supervise the day-to-day activities (GL, A/P, A/R, FP&A, Analysis and Reporting), coordinate and assign duties to improve efficiency.
- Mexico Legal Entity Accounting
- Legal entity representative
- Implement adequate processes in terms of closing, tax compliance, internal control, and business continuity
- Internal reporting: meet internal standards, requirements, and deadlines
- External reporting: respect legal requirements, especially in terms of accounting and tax (the position manages the relationship with financial auditors and with the tax administration for tax audit)
- Accountable for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
- Support Treasury direction for cash flow and credit management
- Support as a business partner to improve the financial performance of the entity
- Coordinate and validate the budgeting process at the entity level, according to corporate instructions
- Analyze and follow-up the actions to improve financial performance of the entity, in terms of P&L, BS, cash management and working capital (vs Y-1, vs budget or any other agreed KPIs),
- Prepare forecasts, and report analyses to the Corporate Finance team
- Responsible for local insurance coverage and policies
- Coordinate and support internal audits, audit findings and the oversight for the corrective action plan
