**Role Purpose**
This role will have oversight and accountability for GPB&W and Asset Management Technology delivery and services in the US and Mexico, including Tech strategy and roadmap, local execution, service performance and resilience. Whilst primary responsibility for global products/platforms reside with the relevant domain SVS, this role will oversee and provide an end-to-end view of local delivery, change portfolio and Technology service in the Americas.
The roleholder will also be responsible for managing resources from multiple domains and vendors, as well as managing stakeholder relationships in-country.
**Principal Accountabilities**
- Oversight and co-ordination of GPB&W and AM Technology delivery and production services in the Americas
- Develop Country Technology delivery roadmap in partnership with Business and ensure Country demand is clearly articulated and prioritised within global portfolios
- Provide Country CIO and COO with oversight of and advice on Technology issues related to the Country e.g. resolution of critical Technology incidents, remediation of risk and control topics, service management and stability
- Accountable for embedding and maturing the DevOps and Agile ways of working across Americas teams
- Represent GPB&W Technology in relevant Regional and Country executive forums
Requirements
**Knowledge**
- Technology - Understanding of relevant tools, platforms and processes to drive delivery efficiency, resilience and engineering excellence (e.g. Mode2, TRMF, SonarQube. Cloud)
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Unify cross-functional Business and Technology teams to drive and optimise achievement of common objectives and customer outcomes
- Stakeholder Management & Communication Skills - Convey complex concepts, facilitate discussions and drive consensus among stakeholders at all levels
- Lean and Agile Principles - Understanding of Lean and Agile methodologies to increase efficiency and optimise value delivery
- Financial - VSIP budget and resource allocation, value-based decision making, cost optimisation and business case development
- English and Spanish proficiency.
