**Position Summary**
This is an onsite position in Cuernavaca, México.
Thales is looking for a Head of HR Shared Services (HRSS) who will be a key member of the senior HRSS leadership team and responsible for defining and shaping the HR Shared Services model across North America and Latin America.
In this position, you will be responsible for implementing the HR Services Center in México acting as a lead representative and liaison between HR, HRIS, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HR Services design and implementation projects, ensuring that the organization has high-quality, efficient processes, systems, and services.
You will drive operational excellence across the HR Shared Services teams of 1st Point HR, to ensure delivery of end to end HR Services, procedures and processes. You are a leader who listens and understands customers (employees, managers, key stakeholders) and HR needs to implement process improvements and cost effective solutions.
**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Deliver Best in Class, Consistent, and Efficient Centralized Services to all Employees, Managers, HR community, and Talent Acquisition teams.
- Execute and Deliver on defined KPI's and Service Level Expectations (cost, quality of services, efficiency, and satisfaction of internal customers).
- Obtain feedback regarding the effectiveness of the service and modify accordingly. Produce regular service reports with trend/issue analysis.
- Participate in the phased setup of the HR Services team infrastructure and operations in Cuernavaca, starting with North America in Phase 1.
- Partner with and influence HR leadership and Centre's Of Expertise (COE) to align and optimize HR processes, to evolve and automate transactional work, and to transform HR service delivery.
- Manage end-to-end operations of the Shared Service Center processes and ensure excellent service is provided through accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Provide operational direction to the HR Shared Services teams to deliver Tier 0 and Tier 1 HR inquiries. Supports and administer various HR programs and processes from Hire-2-Retire but not limited to: Employee Lifecycle changes such as Employee Contracts, Employment Letters, Contract of Employment, Benefits Enrollment & changes, Business Travel Letters, support with Verification of Employment and onboarding and off-boarding activities.
- Create a team culture of service excellence, customer care and value for money, with the added complexity of a geographically dispersed team.
- Identify areas for enhancement / service extension (e.g. Learning Administration) and champion solutions with key stakeholders.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners to ensure all people management processes and policies are being adhered to.
- Ensure HR Shared Services delivers the desired benefits of consistency of responses, economies of scale, improved overall transactional task quality, and return on the technology investment and the streamlining of HR costs.
- Contribute to the strategic direction and formulation of corporate-wide HR policies, procedures, toolkits, systems and documented information for employee processes.
- Manage resources effectively, optimising effectiveness of headcount, fostering retention, employee experience, and exercising cost control.
- Manage the HR budgets for 1st Point on time and on budget.
**Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources Management, IT or a relevant discipline.
- 5 Years' industry relevant experience building and managing HR Shared Services Teams.
- 5 years' experience working within a project management approach.
- Fluency in both written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of service enabling technologies: Workday, ServiceNow, Ulearn, SAP, Oracle, etc.
- Client focused, customer service driven.
- Strong ability in problem solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust, and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to maintain team engagement whilst leading them through change.
- Demonstrated commitment to working with a diverse staff.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- MBA is a plus OR minimum of 9 Years' industry relevant experience.
- Experience within a medium to large-sized organization with domestic and international operations.
