Lead the development of strategies for the operation of the direction of Industrial Engineering; supervising the departments of Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement, design tools, and programmable logic controller (PLC).
To supervise the engineering department (PLC) for the detection, diagnosis, and resolution of failures in both computer equipment and electronic equipment, hydraulic pneumatic measuring physical variables, and control equipment.
Conducting new projects regarding the interpretation of drawings, modifications of areas, and tooling design approval. Coordinate and oversee the development of new lines and/or workstations.
Direct the investment process for the construction of lines, stations, equipment, and tools; having direct communication with Frankfurt and Auburn Hills.
Supervise the design and manufacture of tools and tooling that is done in the Plant. Direct the implementation of equipment and continuous improvement programs to obtain hard and soft savings.
Direct and supervise the area of preventive and corrective maintenance of both equipment and machinery installed on production lines and general services (electricity, water, etc.) of the plant to ensure its operation according to the requirements of operation, contributing to the achievement of overall objectives of the organization.
Define and coordinate the implementation of strategies that guarantee the availability of the productive equipment according to the operation requirements.
Validate and report maintenance, spare part warehouse, workshop & change part management KPIs.
Manage actions to avoid deviations in budget and performance indicators of maintenance, spare part warehouse, workshop & change part management areas.
Responsible for the management of the environmental system and ISO14001 in his area, duties, and processes.
