Head Of Internal Audit Americas

Your Role & Responsibilities:

- Lead Corporate Internal Audit team of Americas (Mexico + Brazil: 3 people)
- In liaison with the central team in Stuttgart, prepare, coordinate and lead audits in the field and remotely.
- Perform audits report quality reviews.
- Lead special audits.
- Staffing and administration (e.g. audits, special requests like 2nd wave, special audits, vacation).
- Identify and lead internal projects.
- Education / Training of the CA employees (Skill transformation and knowledge structure).
- Continuous development of the audit processes in coordination with the process champions.
- In liaison with the Data analytics champion in Stuttgart and the MAHLE Digital Automation Office in the US,
develop and implement standard audit procedures based on data analytics.

Your Skills & Strengths:

- Successfully completed studies in economics / business administration.
- Circa 5 to 10 years of professional audit experience (auditing/revision) including significant experience in a Big 4.
- Pronounced analytical competence, as well as a structured way of thinking and working.
- Excellent English skills; other foreign languages are an advantage.
- Good knowledge of SAP R/3 (S4 Hana would be a plus) and experienced use of MS-Office.
- Experience with data analytics.
- A confident appearance, strong communication skills, and intercultural sensitivity (communication with executives and senior executives of MAHLE).
- Willingness to travel (about 50% of travel activity, worldwide).
- CIA, CFE and/or CISA or comparable professional exams are advantageous.
- Distinctive team spirit.
